Fundraising and Book Writing!

Multitasking Ahoy!

As of this moment, I am multitasking, writing my book, whilst fundraising on twitter and trying to assist three friends with different projects!

My Fundraising for Pancreatitis Research at Liverpool University Hosptial.

Firstly, I will start with my fundraising as that is quite important to me. I am running in this years Flora Women's Mini Marathon on 3rd of June 2013.

Each year I have taken part in this marathon, I raise funds for charities/causes close to my heart. This years charity is even closer to my heart, the reason is a very dear close friend, Carl Cropley, passed away unexpectedly last year from pancreatitis, so it seemed very appropriate that I should raise funding for research into pancreatitis. So for this years marathon and in Carl's memory I hope to raise £3,000 for  Pancreatitis Research at Liverpool University Hosptial.

I would appreciateyour support in helping me achieve my target. Please click on the 'JustGiving' Sponsor Me' badge to the right of my blog, just under my profile. It will take you directly to the fundraising page. Please note that any money you donate goes directly to the hospital research and not to me. So you are giving directly to them.

I know times are tough but please give what you can afford, it all helps at the end of the day.
Thank you so much

Writing News

I am currently working on the long awaited 'Scenes from a Journey'  a non-fiction book
which will be a cross between recounting my travels, childhood vacations, and a tourist guide. The book is in its first draft stage. Publication is likely to be April, but will keep you informed if this changes.

I am also starting my first draft of a surprise book entitled 'Times Hearts' a compilation of short stories.

More details soon.

...And Moving Right Along!'

I have now four books published! After the exhausting task of the last two books, exhausting in relation to their respective formatting  hell issues..argh!!

I am thankful they are published, though there will be a revised edition of 'The Seasons May Drift' which will most likely take place in late spring.

I am currently working on two new books, one non- fiction 'Scenes from a Journey' and a new book, 'Times Hearts' a compliation of short stories, then after that work will commence on the revised edition of 'The Seasons May Drift', then the audio of my first book 'The Promise' and finally
later in the year or early 2014 a sumptous historical romance novel, of which I have the title for, but will keep it under wraps for now! Sorry I like keeping the suspense lol! :)

As you can see I have a lot of work ahead of me. As a note I just wish to say, I am somewhat new to the publishing world and writing the best I can. I am by no means perfect, in fact I can only learn as I go along and like anything else, improve on it. It is all a learning process and I am enjoying it so far minus the formatting hell I have been through.

I must say though, if it were not for a good friend and a couple of fellow authors my last book may not have been published. Here I wish to send some shout outs of thanks to;

Daniel Meza, for  the complete overhaul and sorting out the formatting.of my book.

Vanessa Finaughty, for the offer of assistance.

Alphya Cing, for the advice and offer of assistance.

Without any of you I doubt that I would not have got it published. So a deep hearted thank you to you all :)

At Last!

Exciting news!! 'Gossmer Wings and Other Things' is published at last!!

Having encountered unforeseen errors with the infamous Smashwords meatgrinder, I was on the verge of giving up but with the help of a fellow author, Alphya Cing, discovered the problem and with the help of a good friend, Daniel Meza, the book has been published.

I am delighted to present this charming little book of romantic verses, quotes and thoughts accompanied by beautiful images. It is a perfect gift for a loved one this Valentines  or for a special friend or to someone you admire.
