Rambles a bit ...
I guess I never imagined I would end up writing, yes I wrote poems and short stories when I was kid, but my dreams then were more on dance and writing always came second place, but it was always there. Just because my dream was then a career in dance and the theatre world, did not deter me from having a good scribble. I used to write about dance and do notation, but it was usually very formal rigid stuff!
I never was a kid with the dream of having my book published, that came later, but it was there too nonetheless. I feel so much like, I have loads of stories to get out there, but thing is, I do not stick to one or two genres, but there are some I will not be venturing into! Nuff said!
I'm really so blessed to know such wonderful, caring and helpful indie authors, I won't name names as I don't want to go down the favouritism route, but you know who you are and if you don't then, don't worry about it.
Love the fact that my writings are getting out there and are being read. It is such a joy to know that.
Thank you to everyone who downloaded my books so far. I appreciate it.
Cheers
Jess

Sunny Writes!
Writing on my next book is continuing well. I am sort of working this to a deadline, (the end of May)
I hope that it will happen but who is to know, as I find writing unpredictable, and can never say for sure if it will be concluded by then!
It is nice to sit out in the sun in the garden and write away! Finding much inspiration!

Write about now!
In the news today!...
Writing and editing! My next book is currently being edited and addtional material is being placed. It has still a good bit to go before it resembles anything that resembles a book and one of flowing form!
I am deciding whether to or not too, change my blog look! But think this look will do for now.
Other exciting news coming soon!

Author Conversation & Other News
Author interviews, a new conversation series.
Today I have interviewed Michael Phoenix. the very first author I have interviewed. I must say he is one of the nicest authors I have come across, Very helpful and is a totally genuine person. I wish to thank him here too, for taking the time to do this.
I do prefer the word 'conversation' as opposed to 'interview'. The word 'interview' sounds too formal and too stuffy to me!
More blog adjustments today!
Things are going well with my next book. Still hope to have this published by the beginning of June.

Just a note...
Just a note to say that although this blog is primarily to promote my work as an author/writer, I will be posting reviews, helpful tips/hints, advice and any other helpful items for indie authors/writers.
Writing Away & Blog Fixing Today!
My next book is coming along nicely. It has some way to go and it is at least halfway through to completion. When it arrives at that point, thus begins much editing!
The collaborative book project is now going well and the story is taking shape.
As to this blog, well it is getting there! I am still not overjoyed at it not saying 'Yay!' I love my blog!' In fact its just making me a bit frustrated! lol! It will do for now and I can get back to doing what I enjoy, writing.

Blog Fixing vs Book Writing!
I have been attempting to fix my blog issues. I have done work on some but I am still not happy with the result. I am done with it for today, mostly! More on this later or tomorrow!
I have written more pages for my next book. This will be romantic fiction and the following book will be a fantasty adventure twin series of books. Regards the first book, work has already commenced on that, and as to the collaborative project, it is going very slow with lots of stops and starts.

The Write Way!
So far today has been productive. I am about halfway through writing my next book, and the book that will follow this is a fantasy adventure. The one I am currently writing is a beautiful romantic fiction book, with short stories, poetry , quotes etc.
Also today, I am looking forward to reading, 'A Dream in the Night' by Michael Phoenix. I will be reviewing this book and will post the review here on my blog and also a summary of my review on Smashwords.

Write ....right!
I have been busy over the past couple of days, hence no blog update yesterday, with my writings and designing book covers.
I currently have four books in tow at the moment, which is a mad massive undertaking but each are going along nicely at the moment. They are as follows and in no particular order:
A funtastic fantasy adventure series of two books. The writing on the first instalment is underway.
A collaborative project with another author is going well but slow. It is a fantasy adventure novel.
Romanctic fiction - one of two books planned. Work is progressing well on this. Compiling is still taking place.
Children's novel. This is already well underway. It is aimed at children aged 9 and up.
It's all go and I am delighted to say that my other published books are doing well and I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has read or downloaded my books. I do hope that you have/will enjoy them as I had writing them. Thank you.

Compile/Edit!
Spent this morning bring a collection of works together. Editing will get underway in the next few days! This book will have beautiful chapters of romantic fiction short stories, love poems, quotes etc. It will be a very heartfelt, warm and soul soothing book. This book will be released for pubication before the first book of a two part funtastic fantasy series is published.
I have completed chapter two of the first book in a two part series. It is all going well with that.
More news soon!

Write'n'Read Read'n'Write
So far it has been a busy day!
Have lots to sort out with the books I am currently writing. All coming along nicely!
I am also reading a couple of other authors works, which I will be reviewing soon on here. Keep your eyes peeled for that.
Designing two new book covers along with a new cover for my Author page on Facebook.

She was almost always there, ready to play with the children, and read to them, and help them to do their home-lessons. Besides this she used to write stories for them while they were at school, and read them aloud after tea, and she always made up funny pieces of poetry for their birthdays and for other great occasions.' - The Railway Children by Edith Nesbit

Brain Storming!
Collaborative work has begun on the book project. The genre has been decided and commencement of the book is already underway. The other author and myself are working on fantasy adventure novel. I have to say it has been an amazing couple of days! The book, as yet has no deadline, as we both have other projects to complete. More news on the project soon.
In other news, work is going well on my next book. I am at least 3/4 of the way through. I have to re design my cover for this book.
The first part of a two part funtastic epic fantasy adventure series, is going slow but steady. I am well into my second chapter. Hope to have the first completed rough copy by the end of June.
Blog changes. I will be making new additions to this blog very soon, including a feature page for new works by myself and other authors, which will change weekly.
Lots more news soon!

Phase one!
Got some work done today on my next book. Lots of writing to do, have to convert it from hand written notes to my laptop. It is going well. The fantasy adventure book is also plodding along nicely.
Have a couple of covers to work on. Plus my new website which has not been attended to in a while. I will get that up and running as soon as I can.

Early Morning Start!
I have been up since 7 this morning writing away! I got a big idea for part of one of the books I am currently writing. It seemed to good to let the idea go, and now thats done.
Apart from that, just wanted to say that this blog is far from looking the way I want it too. So there will be a lot more additions and changes. Lots more upcoming things in the pipeline too.
I will also be reviewing other peoples works... movies'n'books...going over classic literature..and so much more!
This freshly baked blog has not hit the town yet but is hoping for a small village!
More stuff soon!

Writing!
At the moment, I am in the midst of writing one book and sorting out another! The book I am sorting out is my next one, a romantic fiction book. I have had material for this book which I wrote a good few years ago and it all seems to be going well at the moment.
The other book I am writing is the epic fantasy adventure. I completed a synopsis and have made a good start its first draft.

'This is my post!' John J. Dunbar - 'Dances with Wolves!'
Welcome!
What better way to start my new blog than with a quote from a favourite movie!
I decided to move my blog to here, as it would serve my writing better plus I do not have to keep deleting my old posts!
'Nothing ventured! Nothing gained!' My venture into the literary world has commenced and I intend to be here for a long time! Many future publications are planned with several books in the offing.
Currently I am writing an epic fantasy adventure, the first of two books. I am one chapter down now with a lot more to go!
This will be the first draft and I expect a lot of editing, re-editing etc to do. I do not know how long this will take me to complete but I am hoping to have this done in a few months, hopefully!
There is another book before this fantasy adventure book. This book will bridge the gap between the wait for the two part series. The book will be romantic fiction stories along with love poems and sonnets.
It's all go at Jess central!
